Nepal is battling a catastrophic flood disaster after a massive glacial collapse and ice-rock debris flow triggered devastating flash floods across the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river systems.The death toll has now risen to 359, with bodies recovered from eight districts, while more than 1,000 people remain missing in Nepal and neighbouring Tibet. Rescue teams are continuing operations despite destroyed roads, bridges and other critical infrastructure.The disaster has swept away homes, vehicles, bridges and roads, leaving entire communities cut off.
