Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke was detained by Delhi Police ahead of the party’s planned ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ protest at Central Park in Connaught Place. In a video recorded before his detention, Dipke told a police officer that he had not broken any law. Section 163 is in force in the area, and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has not granted permission for the Tiranga Yatra. The detention comes amid the CJP’s protest plans in the national capital.
