The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice regarding the 2025 recruitment registration process for KVS and NVS. The notice clarifies that the qualifications required for various posts in KVS and NVS differ, even if the posts share the same name. As a result, the application portal provides multiple qualification options in the dropdown menu for each post.
“The candidates, before applying for any of the post(s), are advised to read the Notification thoroughly & carefully and check whether their qualification(s) is/are exactly matching to the qualification(s) mentioned in the Notification. Accordingly, the candidates should choose the post and concerned qualification(s) on the application portal,” reads the official notice.

The notice also addresses issues candidates face with fee payment updates or failed transactions. If a transaction does not get updated on the portal, candidates must make the payment again. The amount from the earlier failed transaction will be automatically refunded to their bank account within a week.

KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025: How To Register
Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE, KVS, or NVS.
Step 2: Click on the KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025 application link available on the homepage.
Step 3: Register yourself. Fill out the application form.
Step 4: Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
Step 5: Keep a printed copy for future reference.
“Some candidates are asking for interpretations or relaxation in qualification(s) mentioned in the Notification. In this regard, the candidates are informed that qualification(s) mentioned in the notification are final and no variation or relaxation in qualification(s) is allowed,” the board added.
The recruitment process for teaching and non-teaching posts in KVS and NVS began on November 14 and the registration will close on December 4, 2025. A total of 14,967 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Over 11 lakh candidates have already applied for the exam.
