Born on December 24, 1997, in Khandra village in Haryana’s Panipat district, Neeraj completed his early education at a local school in his hometown. He developed an interest in athletics during his teenage years after taking up javelin to improve his fitness.
As his sporting career began to take off, Neeraj focused on balancing academics with rigorous training.
He later pursued higher education at Lovely Professional University (LPU) in Punjab, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.
