Three months after the theft at her farmhouse in Pune, actress Sangeeta Bijlani said she still does not feel safe. Sangeeta recently met Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Sandeep Singh Gill and took information about the status of investigation into the theft at her farm house. He has also applied for a gun license citing personal safety concerns.

The actress described this incident as extremely disturbing. Talking to news agency PTI, she said- ‘I have been living there for the last 20 years. Pavana has been a home for me and it has been three and a half months since the scary incident of theft in my farm house, but no clue has been found yet. it was very scary. Thankfully I was not there. There were obscene words and graffiti written on the walls inside the house.

The actress said that for the first time she felt the need to keep weapons for self-protection. After this incident, I have sought a gun license from Pune Rural Police. Being a woman, if I go home alone, I feel there is a need for some kind of protection. I never felt the need to get a gun license, but for the first time I feel unsafe. It is expected that the authorities will take strict action and expedite the investigation to restore the confidence of the residents of the area.

The actress says that this incident has shocked not only her but also the other people of the area. However, SP Gill has assured them that the police will get to the bottom of the matter and catch the culprits. He said- ‘Many residents live in Pavana, including senior citizens and families. Security is important. He claimed that due to these incidents, residents of Pavana area are feeling unsafe recently.

Let us tell you that in July, unknown people entered the actress’s property located at Pavana Dam and broke household items like fridge, TV set and furniture and made obscene pictures on the walls. According to the police, they also looted Rs 50,000 in cash and a TV worth Rs 7,000.
