Popular actor Ronit Roy has taken a break from social media. Announcing this on Saturday, he said that he is taking this step for the family. The actor also apologized for keeping distance from the fans and hoped that people do not forget him.
Announcing this from his official Instagram, Ronit Roy wrote, ‘Hello, what I am about to say is coming from a place of love, understanding and tenderness. You all know I love you. I scroll, like your posts, comment on your posts and respond to as many messages as I can.
He further wrote, ‘I am extremely grateful for whatever I have received. I treasure everything. Especially the love and respect that I have received from all of you, which I cherish and keep very close to my heart. However, I have reached that stage in life where I have to make a new path for myself and my family. A path that will hopefully lead me to a better person, better at relationships, and a better actor. This is a path I have not walked before. Leave behind comfort and old bad habits. Jump and live outside the box. Scary, I know, but it has to be done.
‘This complete digital distancing is one of the real reasons I’ve grown mentally and spiritually stronger and have discovered this new version of myself (which I hope you all love more). So for some time (don’t know for how long) please forgive me that I will not be active on social media at all.
Finally, Ronit wrote, ‘Needless to say, it is impossible to live away from your love, so as soon as personal goals are accomplished and better habits are adopted and practiced, I will be back. Please don’t forget me. Love you all, and God bless you all.
