Ranbir’s statement has come on the criticism of VFX shown in the teaser and trailer of the film ‘Ramayana’ being made under the direction of Nitish Tiwari. In an interview given to ‘Collider’, the film’s lead actor Ranbir Kapoor, director Nitish Tiwari and co-producer Namit Malhotra have responded to the trolls. Actually, after the trailer was launched, the graphics of the film were being criticized. The makers have urged the audience to watch the film in IMAX 3D and said that the VFX work is yet to be completed. ‘People start understanding AI after watching the trailer on the phone’ Ranbir Kapoor said that people who do not have knowledge of computer graphics, they think that everything has been made only with AI. In reality, it takes countless hours and years of hard work to create any scene. Ranbir told that right from the beginning of the project, Nitish Tiwari and Namit Malhotra were busy sitting in visual effects meetings and correcting even the color of the sky. He believes that impressing the audience with computer graphics has become a very difficult task nowadays. Namit Malhotra, co-producer and visual effects expert of the film which spent millions of dollars for the big screen experience, said that people are not experiencing the visuals in the right screen and environment. When the same visuals are seen in 3D in IMAX, people’s opinions change. According to Namit, makers are spending millions of dollars to provide the best big screen experience, but people start finding shortcomings after watching it on mobile phones with poor internet connection. A small mistake is being blown out of proportion. Director Nitish Tiwari said that his team is still busy finalizing the visual effects work. It took two and a half to three years to complete some special sequences of the film. Nitish said that when a person looks at the work only with the intention of finding shortcomings, then the efforts of the entire team over the years are ignored and even a small mistake is presented as a big deal.
