Delhi International Airport also faced such a problem on Saturday, more than 800 flights were affected.

There are three international airports in Nepal, but Tribhuvan International Airport is the busiest.
Three flights were diverted
Due to the glitch, two domestic and three international flights were diverted to other airports. Qatar Airways flight was sent to Dhaka, Korean Air flight to Delhi and FlyDubai flight to Lucknow. Two domestic flights of Buddha Air were sent to other local airports of Nepal.
An employee told the media that the runway lighting system helps pilots land at night or during times of poor visibility. The exact cause of the problem has not been revealed, but it is expected to be fixed by tonight.
