Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are on fire for Argentina and France, respectively, in this year’s FIFA World Cup, and with six goals each to their credit, they are leading the Golden Boot race. The two former Paris Saint-Germain stars will look to score many more goals for their respective national teams in the upcoming matches and help them win the title. While Mbappe and Messi top the goal-scorers’ list at the FIFA World Cup 2026, there are many players who have scored more goals than them in a single edition of the FIFA World Cup. Here’s a look:
