Allu Arjun’s father and wife recently met the family of the child who was injured in the stampede during the premiere of the film Pushpa 2. Allu Aravind and Sneha Reddy reach the house of injured child Sretej. Allu Arvind and Sneha inquired about Shretej’s health, spent time with the family and assured to continue providing all possible help during the treatment. During the meeting, Allu Arvind also promised to bear the expenses of Shretej’s younger sister’s education. The Allu family and the production banner associated with Pushpa 2 have been bearing the expenses of Sritej’s treatment since the accident. This support continues even now during rehabilitation and long-term treatment. Allu Arjun and the team of the film helped with Rs 2 crore. Producer Dil Raju had told that ₹ 2 crore was deposited to help the family. Allu Arjun contributed ₹1 crore, while director Sukumar and the film’s producers contributed ₹50 lakh each. Mother dies, son injured in stampede On December 4, 2024, during the premiere of the film Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad, 9-year-old Sretej was seriously injured and his mother Revathi died. Shritej was admitted to the emergency department of the hospital in critical condition. He remained unconscious for a long time and later developed difficulty breathing and severe neurological problems, due to which he had to be given ventilator support for several weeks. After staying in ICU for about five months, Shretej was discharged from the hospital in April 2025. He was then shifted to a rehabilitation center in Ramgopalpet for further neurological treatment. Earlier in 2025, his father Mogadampalli Bhaskar had said in a conversation with Times of India, ‘There has been very little improvement in Shritej’s health. He also finds it difficult to recognize us. Most of the time he just stares without any emotion. At present he is undergoing speech and swallowing therapy. We are hopeful of his recovery.
