India has completely rejected the mention of Jammu and Kashmir in the joint statement of China and Pakistan. The Ministry of External Affairs said that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral and inseparable parts of India. India also expressed strong objection to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects. This statement has come in response to the joint statement issued after the visit of Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to China. It was said that Pakistan informed China about the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. After this, China said that the Jammu and Kashmir issue is a dispute related to history and it should be resolved peacefully under the United Nations Charter, UNSC resolutions and bilateral agreements.
