Microsoft’s message to employees
Microsoft has asked its H-1B and H-4-visa employees to return to the US before September 21. Meta has also issued a similar alert to the employees.
According to Reuters, Microsoft on Saturday sent an internal email to its employees, asking H-1B and H-4 visa holders to return to the US immediately. Meta has also issued a similar alert to the employees.
Microsoft said, ‘H-1B visa holders stay in America for the next some time. The H-4 visa holders have the same advice. Our recommendation is that both types of visa holders reach America before the deadline of September 21 i.e. on Sunday.
JP Morgan and Amazon also sent alert
JP Morgan also issued a similar alert to his global employees. The company has advised its H-1B and H-4 visa holders to be vigilant and stay in the US.
On the other hand, Amazon has also warned its employees to return to America before Eastern Daylight Time i.e. EDT (9:31 am) at 12 pm on 21 September. Amazon has advised Indian and other foreign employees to avoid international travel at the moment.
Many Indians descended from plane after increasing fees
After this news, there was a stir among the Indian travelers returning to the country. Several Indian travelers demanded to get off the aircraft only after sitting in a flight coming from San Francisco to India. Apart from this, many passengers sitting on a flight going from Dubai to America also landed at the airport. He feared that he would not be able to reach America on time and would be difficult to enter again after the new rules were implemented.
