EV Vehicle Subsidy: After giving discount on hybrid vehicles in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has increased the discount on electric vehicles. In UP, the Yogi Adityanath government has extended the subsidy of ₹ 5,000 on the purchase of two-wheelers and ₹ 1 lakh on four-wheelers till October 2027. The Governor has approved this proposal of the government. According to the notification, there is a provision of Rs 100 crore for two-wheelers, which will provide subsidy to about 20 lakh vehicles. A discount of Rs 1 lakh on four-wheelers has been approved for 25 thousand vehicles. The Governor has allocated Rs 250 crore for four-wheelers. The customer buying the vehicle will be given discount on only one vehicle. The discount will not be valid on buying a second vehicle.
