A girl named Rabia, resident of Dhaulana town of Hapur district, has appealed directly to the District Magistrate demanding removal of the high tension power line passing over her house. Rabia goes to the rooftop of the house with her brother and makes a video. In which she pleads with the District Magistrate with folded hands and says that due to coming in contact with this high tension line, a big accident had happened to her brother, in which his hand was cut. Despite this, till now no concrete action has been taken to remove or relocate the line.
When NDTV team talked to the girl who appealed to DM on social media, she told that high tension lines worth Rs 33,000 were passing over the roof of her house. Due to which his younger brother had cut his hand due to its grip many years ago. Can’t even play on the rooftop because of the line. DM sir, please solve our problem.
When we took information about this matter from District Officer Abhishek Pandey, he told that a video has come to light through social media. Taking cognizance of this, officials of the Electricity Department have been directed to investigate. The problem will be resolved soon.
