The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has defended its decision to withdraw the criminal case against Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani and seven people. The department said in a 10-page document filed in the court that this case should have been closed a year ago, or it should not have been started at all. This was also not in line with the current legal priorities of the Trump administration.
