Clash between NSUI and ABVP workers in Pune college campus before Rahul Gandhi’s program
A clash broke out between ABVP and NSUI members at the hostel campus of COEP Technological University in Pune ahead of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Students’ Echo’ program on Saturday. After the incident, a large number of policemen were deployed on the campus.
ABVP alleges that Congress workers were pressurizing the girl students of COEP to register for Saturday’s program. At the same time, Congress alleges that two girl students who spoke in support of the program were stopped and threatened by ABVP workers in the hostel.
