The aspiration of Ara in Bihar is on the left and the aspiration of Ghazipur in UP is on the right.
Two candidates have claimed the same rank in UPSC Civil Services Exam Result 2025. In the merit list released by UPSC, Akanksha Singh is on AIR 301, whose roll number is 0856794. Two different girl students from Bihar and UP have claimed this selection. The name of both these candidates is Akanksha Singh.
There is an error in the admit card of Bihar’s Akanksha
Dainik Bhaskar checked the admit cards of both the candidates to investigate the matter. The roll number recorded on the interview call letter of Akanksha from Ghazipur, UP is 0856794. On scanning the QR visible on this admit card, the same roll number is visible.
Whereas Akanksha Singh of Arrah, Bihar provided her Prelims Admit Card to Bhaskar. However, roll number 0856794 is visible written on it also. But on scanning the QR, roll number 085659 is visible.
In such a situation, either there has been some error in issuing the admit card by UPSC, or the admit card of Bihar Akanksha has been tampered with. No clarification has yet come from UPSC on this matter.

UP’s Akanksha said- now there is no confusion

Akanksha from UP completed her MBBS, MS from Patna AIIMS. After this she started preparing for UPSC. This was his second attempt.
Akanksha, daughter of Ranjit Singh of Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, told Dainik Bhaskar that she had given Mains in August 2025 and interview on 4 February 2026 with roll number 0856794.
He said- I am clear that this result is mine, you can check it with the code or roll number entered on my admit card. There is no doubt on UPSC site. There has been misinformation in the media. The whole matter is clear that this result is mine. If Akanksha, resident of Arrah, feels that the result is hers then she should come forward and refute this and show it with proof. I don’t know on what basis Ara’s akanksha has seen the result.
I have given all three tests including Mains with this roll number. My father makes me take exams every time. I got this roll number when I filled the form.
