Tempsens Instruments IPO: Temperature sensing and heating solutions provider Tempsens Instruments Ltd, which witnessed a whopping 184.22x subscription on the final day of its bidding on Monday, will see its IPO allotment today, August 25. Investors might be able to check their allotment status in the evening today. They will also get a bank debit message if their allotment is approved.
On the last day of bidding on Monday, the Rs 650-crore initial public offering (IPO) received a strong 184.22x subscription, garnering bids for 2,79,68,20,000 shares as against the 1,51,81,668 shares on offer. Its retail category has received a 61x subscription, while the non-institutional investor (NII) category received a 314.44x subscription. The QIB category received a 302.88x subscription on Day 3.
The public issue was open for public subscription between August 20 and August 24. The stock is scheduled to be listed on both BSE and NSE on August 28.

According to market observers, unlisted shares of Tempsens Instruments India Ltd were commanding a grey market premium (GMP) of Rs 317 per share on Tuesday, compared with Rs 313 on Monday.
Based on the upper price band of Rs 300, the GMP indicates a potential listing price of around Rs 617 per share, which is a 105.67 per cent listing gain. However, investors should note that the grey market is unofficial and GMP keeps changing based on investor sentiments.
Tempsens Instruments IPO: Key Details
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 95 crore and an offer-for-sale of up to 1.85 crore equity shares. At the upper end of the price band, the issue size is Rs 650 crore, and the company’s post-issue market capitalisation is estimated at Rs 2,515 crore.
Tempsens Instruments (India) Ltd has garnered Rs 194.55 crore from anchor investors, including Temasek and SBI Mutual Fund.
The Udaipur-based company plans to use the proceeds for capital expenditure in electrical heating and specialised cable solutions, debt repayment, and general corporate purposes.
Incorporated in 1990, Tempsens manufactures a wide range of contact and non-contact temperature sensors and provides tailored solutions across industrial applications.
ICICI Securities and JM Financial are the book-running lead managers to the issue.
