With 6.34 lakh applications competing for seats in private schools, these results determine which children gain free admission under the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
How To Check the RTE Lottery Result 2026-27?
The Rajasthan RTE portal provides two main methods to check the status.
Method 1: Check by School Location
This method is ideal for parents who want to view the entire list of selected students for a specific school.
1. Visit the official RTE Rajasthan website at rajpsp.nic.in.
2. Click on the link labeled ‘School Admission Status’ or ‘Centralized Lottery Result-School Wise’ on the homepage.
3. Select the “By School Location” option.
4. Sequentially choose your District, Block, Gram Panchayat/ULB, Village/Ward, and the specific School from the dropdown menus.
5. Enter the Captcha code and click ‘Search’ or ‘View’. A list of selected students for that school will appear, where you can search for your child’s name or application number.
Method 2: Check by Student Application Details
For direct results without scanning long lists, this is the recommended method.
1. Go to rajpsp.nic.in.
2. Click on the link that says ‘Student Online Application and Reporting’.
3. Enter your child’s Application Number, Date of Birth, and the registered Mobile Number on the new page.
4. Enter the Captcha code and click ‘Submit’. If selected, the name of the allotted school and the status of admission will be displayed instantly.

The application period for RTE Admission was from February 20 to March 4, 2026. Parents could choose up to five schools within their catchment area based on preference.

Being selected in the lottery is the first major step but does not guarantee automatic admission. Parents must complete the following critical formalities to secure the seat:
Reporting to the School: Candidates must physically report to the allotted school within the specified deadline. The reporting window for the first round of allotment is expected to be from March 13 to March 21, 2026.
Document Verification: During reporting, schools will thoroughly verify original documents. These include the Income Certificate (less than Rs. 2.5 lakh), Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Birth Certificate (Age Proof), and BPL Card (if applicable).
Final Admission: Only after successful document verification will the school confirm the admission on the portal and grant entry to the child.
