Punjab Police has announced a significant recruitment drive for constables across the state. The notification, released on March 6, confirms 3298 vacancies in District Cadre and Armed Cadre. Online applications will commence on March 10 and end on March 30, through the official recruitment portal, punjabpolice.gov.in. The recruitment notice invites applications for constables in both District Cadre and Armed Cadre units.
The selection process includes a Computer Based (CBT) consisting of Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) followed by Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) with specified qualifying parameters. All the candidates will be required to indicate their choice of cadres, in order of preference, in the application form, provided that they meet the eligibility criteria, states the official notice. The exam dates will be announced later.
