West Ham finished the recently concluded season of the English top-flight in the 14th position as they tallied 43 points in 38 outings with 11 wins, 10 draws and 17 defeats.
The Hammers began the season under head coach Julen Lopetegui, who had been at the helm at Wolves, before parting ways with the Spanish manager due to sub-par performances in the start of the season and replaced him with English gaffer Graham Potter, a former Chelsea and Brighton boss, who closed out the season for the Londoners after taking charge in January.
