National Testing Agency i.e. NTA on Thursday gave clarification on the fees for challenging the ‘answer key’ released after the exam. NTA said- If the answer to any question is found wrong in the answer key, then the candidate can challenge. For this, a fee of ₹ 200 has to be paid for each question.

The agency said that the fee is so that unnecessary objections do not arise. Its purpose is not to earn money from students. That is, if you have really found a mistake in the answer key and your objection is correct, then the money will also be refunded and the result of lakhs of students can be correct.

UGC-NET answer key was released on August 16, exams of three subjects were cancelled.
