NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Cancelled, Reporting Halted

NEET UG Seat Allotment 2025: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) released the provisional seat allotment results for the NEET UG counseling round 2 on September 17. However, it now stands cancelled. One of the government medical colleges had submitted twice the number of seats for Round-II counselling than actually available, hence the merit list needs to be revised. Students have been asked to refrain from reporting to the colleges. The new date is expected to be out soon.

“MCC of DGHS, has received information from one of the Government Medical Colleges that they have inadvertently submitted twice the number of seats for Round-II of UG Counselling 2025 than those actually available with them and those seats have got allotted in Round II. As a result, the competent authority has directed to revise the result of Round-II of UG Counselling 2025 which was declared today. The Final result dated 18.09.2025 is being withdrawn for revision and the reporting has been put on halt. Candidates are advised to wait for the Revised Final result of Round-II of UG Counselling 2025 before proceeding for reporting,” states the official notice.

Once out, candidates can check their seat allotment by visiting the MCC website, mcc.nic.in. To view their seat allotment and download their allotment letter, candidates must enter their registration number and password. The MCC has stated that any discrepancies in the results can be reported via email to mccresultquery@gmail.com.

— To check the NEET UG counseling seat allotment result, candidates visit the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in.

— Click on the NEET UG counseling section on the home page, then on the link for the NEET UG 2025 Round 2 seat allotment result.

— Log in by entering your credentials and password.

— The seat allotment result will appear on the screen.

— Carefully check all the details and print the result.

— After being allotted a college, report to the college by the specified date and have your documents verified.

Documents required while reporting to the assigned colleges include the seat allotment letter, NEET admit card, NEET score card, result or rank letter, birth certificate, 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, identity card, and caste certificate.
