A massive fire broke out in Hazargo Industries located in Sector-3 of Pithampur Industrial Area in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh at around 9:45 pm on Tuesday night. The fire took a huge form within some time. 10 laborers were working there when the fire spread. He was taken out. There are continuous explosions in the chemical drums kept in this company, which deals with waste management and disposal of chemical waste, due to which the fire spread rapidly and the flames reached other nearby companies. In view of the situation, nearby factories have been evacuated. There is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. Fire engines from nearby cities including Indore are continuously reaching the spot and till now 14 firefighters are busy extinguishing the fire. The plume of smoke is visible from a distance. The fire is so fierce that the plume of black smoke is visible far and wide. To control the fire, water is being continuously supplied from the municipality and private tankers, while sand has also been procured. A JCB and a Hydra vehicle were gutted in the fire.
