IBPS PO 2025 Prelims Result OUT: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the results of the Probationary Officers (PO) 2025 preliminary exams this month. Candidates can check their results on the official website, ibps.in, by logging in with their registration or roll number and password or date of birth.

The prelims were conducted on August 17, 23, and 24. To qualify, candidates must secure the minimum cut-off marks in each section. Those who meet the cut-off will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination, which is the next stage of the recruitment process. The IBPS PO Mains exam is more difficult than the Preliminary exam. It includes questions on topics such as Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Successful candidates in the IBPS PO Mains exam will be called for a bank job interview, which assesses personality, communication skills, and knowledge of the banking sector.

IBPS PO 2025 Prelims Result: Marking Scheme

IBPS applies a penalty for incorrect answers in the prelims. For every wrong answer, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question is deducted. There is no penalty for unattempted questions.

Step 3: Enter your registration number/roll number and password or date of birth.

Step 4: Submit the details to view your result.

Step 5: Download and save the scorecard for future reference. Candidates can also take a printout of their result.

IBPS PO 2025: Salary Details

The starting basic pay for an IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) has been revised to Rs 48,480. The complete pay scale now follows the format:

Rs 48,480–1,740(7)–60,660–2,130(2)–64,920–2,680(7)–85,920, indicating periodic increments over the course of the officer’s career.

The IBPS PO Recruitment Exam will recruit eligible candidates for a total of 5,208 vacant positions.
