LinkedIn has released its inaugural Top Colleges ranking, identifying 50 US schools that ensure long-term success. The ranking methodology has been based on five pillars — job placement, internships and recruiter demand, career success, network strength, and knowledge breadth.
Here are some of the top 50 US institutions:
1. Princeton University
Princeton University in New Jersey tops LinkedIn’s list of the 50 best US schools. It excels in job placement and entrepreneurship opportunities. Graduates from Princeton thrive in fields such as Technology & Internet, Financial Services, and Business Consulting. The tuition fee at Princeton is $65,210.
2. Duke University
Located in Durham, North Carolina, Duke University ranks second overall in the US. With an undergraduate enrollment of 6,525, Duke is renowned for training students in skills like MATLAB, Web Development, and AI Engineering. The tuition fee at Duke is approximately $66,326.
3. University of Pennsylvania
The University of Pennsylvania secures the third spot among the top 50 US schools in LinkedIn’s list. With 10,500 undergraduates, its strengths lie in industries such as Financial Services, Technology & Internet, and Business Consulting. Graduates possess strong skills in Scientific Computing, Data Science, and Industrial Design.
4. Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is notable for its top-ranking in entrepreneurship, internships, and recruiter demand. MIT graduates pursue careers in Technology & Internet, Manufacturing, and Research Services, with skills in AI Engineering, Robotics, and Web Development.
5. Cornell University
