Domestic LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 29. The new rates have come into effect from 12 midnight tonight. Now the price of 14.2 kg gas cylinder in Delhi has increased from ₹ 913 to ₹ 942. The price of LPG has been increased for the second time in three months. Earlier on March 7, the price of LPG cylinder was increased by ₹ 60.
In this way, domestic cylinder has become costlier by Rs 89 within 3 months. According to sources of news agency PTI, oil companies say that prices had to be increased due to increased energy costs in the international market and losses on domestic sales.
