The University of Delhi has announced an on-the-spot mop-up admission round for undergraduate seats that are still vacant after Mop-up Round 1. This round will be held in physical mode.

Admissions in this round will be based on Class 12 marks or equivalent exams, not on CUET scores. Students must also meet the programme-specific eligibility rules mentioned in the university’s information bulletin.

The registration for the on-the-spot mop-up round will start at 5 pm on September 17, 2025, and close at 11:59 pm on September 19, 2025. Details of vacant seats across colleges and courses will be available on the admission website, admission.uod.ac.in.

Students who are already registered but not admitted to any course can apply through their CSAS (UG) dashboard under the mop-up tab. New students can also apply by submitting a fresh application with a one-time non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 plus the registration fee.

The allocation and admission process is scheduled to begin on September 23, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will receive an invitation letter by email with details of reporting date, time, and venue. Admissions will happen in physical mode only, and students must appear in person.

Candidates must carry original documents and self-attested copies, including the invitation letter, CSAS application form, Class 12 marksheet and certificate, Class 10 marksheet or birth certificate, and a valid ID card like Aadhaar or passport. Category certificates, if applicable, must also be shown.

Students must pay the admission fee immediately online at the time of seat allotment. If the fee is not paid, the seat will be cancelled and given to another candidate. The university has also clarified that appearing in the mop-up round does not guarantee admission.
