In Coimbatore, CCTV captures a speeding grey sedan ramming a scooter, flinging a father and his school going daughter onto the road as locals rush to help.

A man and his young daughter were thrown off their two-wheeler after being hit by a speeding car in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore district on Monday, in a incident captured on CCTV.
The accident took place in the Thattampudur area of Coimbatore. CCTV footage shows the man riding a scooter with his school-going daughter seated behind him in uniform. Moments later, the sound of screeching tyres is heard before a speeding grey sedan crashes into the scooter from behind.
The impact sends the father and daughter, who were not wearing helmets, flying onto the road. The car continues moving forward and finally comes to a halt only after colliding with a truck approaching from the opposite direction.
The footage also shows local residents rushing to the scene immediately after the collision to help the injured duo.
