Ausa police in Maharashtra’s Latur district have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke, associate Ajinkya Shinde, and three to four unidentified individuals following allegations of unorganised intrusion, filming, and intimidating staff at a government Zilla Parishad school.

The legal action was initiated after a 53-year-old teacher at the Zilla Parishad Urdu school in the Ausa region lodged an official complaint with local authorities.

Inside the Incident: Unauthorised Entry and Disruption

According to the police FIR, the incident occurred during school hours when Dipke and his supporters entered the school premises without prior administrative permission.

• Classroom Interference: The group allegedly entered ongoing classes, sat among the students, and began questioning both students and staff on camera, disrupting regular teaching activities and government duties.
• Social Media Circulation: The group recorded video footage during their visit and circulated it online.
• Defamation Allegations: The complaint states that the posted footage portrayed the institution negatively by falsely claiming that students from another school had been brought in to artificially boost attendance numbers.
• Verbal Confrontation and Threats: When school staff questioned the unauthorised filming, Dipke and his team allegedly used derogatory language against the teachers and threatened them with administrative suspension.

Criminal Charges Invoked Under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)

Following the complaint from the education department employee, the Ausa Police Station invoked multiple stringent sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS):

• Section 132: Assault or use of criminal force to deter a public servant from discharging official duty.
• Section 329(3): Criminal trespass.
• Section 351(2): Criminal intimidation.
• Section 356(2): Defamation.
• Section 3(5): Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention.

Context: The CJP ‘School Thik Karo’ Campaign

The incident occurred as part of CJP’s ongoing “School Thik Karo” (Fix Government Schools) campaign. Launched on Independence Day, the initiative involves unannounced visits to rural government schools across central Maharashtra to highlight infrastructural shortcomings, cleanliness issues, and administrative deficiencies.

While Dipke and CJP supporters maintain that their visits aim to enforce accountability and demand better facilities for rural students, local authorities emphasised that unauthorised access, filming of minors without consent, and obstructing public servants during official duties remain violations of the law. Police confirmed that further investigations into the matter are currently underway.
