CBSE Exams 2026: Following Holi, several CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams are scheduled. Here’s a look at the upcoming subjects.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 12th students will sit for their Psychology exam. While class 10 students are appearing for the language exams today. Following Holi, several CBSE board exams are scheduled. Here’s a look at the upcoming subjects:
Ongoing Class 10 Exams: The Class 10 exams will continue until March 10, 2026. After Holi, language exams will be held on March 5, followed by a painting exam on March 6. The Social Science exam is scheduled for March 7. In Middle Eastern countries, rescheduled exams for painting, regional languages, foreign languages, NCC, and bookkeeping and accountancy will now take place on March 11, instead of the original March 3 date.
Class 12 Exam Schedule: The Class 12 exams will run until April 10, 2026, featuring significant papers between March and April:
– Psychology – March 5
– Language paper – March 6
– Mathematics and Applied Mathematics – March 9
– English Elective and English Core – March 12
– Home Science – March 14
– Hindi Elective and Hindi Core – March 16
– Music – March 17
– Economics – March 18
– Political Science – March 23
– Computer Science – March 25
– Biology – March 27
– History – March 30
– Sociology – April 4
– Sanskrit Core – April 8
– Multimedia, Textile Design and Data Science – April 9
– Legal Studies – April 10
The board has announced that some Class 10 subjects, including regional languages, NCC, and bookkeeping, initially scheduled for March 3, will now be held on March 11. The Class 12 Legal Studies exam is rescheduled for April 10. The updated dates will be reflected on admit cards, and schools will provide students with an updated datesheet.
Psychology Exam Tips For 12th Students
As per the syllabus, Intelligence and Self & Personality usually feature the most direct and theoretical questions. Topics like Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Logo Therapy are often discussed. Be prepared with definitions of Cognitive Dissonance and Compliance, supported by real-life examples (e.g., advertising or social pressure). Pay attention to the blue/yellow boxes and graphs in NCERT books, as they frequently lead to tricky 1 mark questions and case studies.
Using headings and bullets is crucial for 6 mark questions. If discussing a therapeutic relationship, illustrating its phases in a flowchart can help you earn extra marks.
