Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed that it has attacked the Pakistan Coast Guards camp in Jiwani area of Gwadar district of Balochistan province of Pakistan. According to the BLA, at around 6:32 pm on July 3, an attacker from its Majeed Brigade drove a vehicle loaded with explosives into the camp and detonated it. The organization claims that more than 30 guards were killed and dozens were injured in this attack. However, the Pakistan government or army has not yet officially confirmed this claim. Many security personnel may be buried under the debris. BLA claimed that the explosion was so powerful that the Pakistan Coast Guards camp was completely destroyed. According to the organization, immediately after the blast, its Fateh Squad fighters attacked the camp and targeted the surviving security personnel from close range. BLA said that many security personnel may be buried under the debris, so the death toll may increase. These BLA claims could not be independently verified. Attacker identified as Attaullah Baloch BLA claimed in its statement that the attacker has been identified as Attaullah Baloch alias Ajmal, whom the organization described as a member of its Majeed Brigade.
