BJP termed as ‘lie’ Rahul Gandhi’s claim in which he had said that President Draupadi Murmu did not deny the allegation of rigging in the elections and ‘accepted’ the delegation of India Bloc. BJP accused the Congress leader of doing malicious politics.
A delegation of India Bloc leaders met President Murmu on Friday evening and submitted a memorandum to him regarding the alleged ‘vote theft’.
After the meeting, Rahul Gandhi Said that he was surprised and shocked that the President did not refute the allegation of ‘rigging in the election’ and accepted the words of the opposition leaders. Calling Rahul’s claim ‘unfortunate and strange’, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said, ‘He is lying.’
He said, ‘His claim that the President has accepted his allegations reflects the malicious cycle that Rahul Gandhi is creating, and he is making every constitutional institution a victim of his politics. Now it seems that he has crossed all limits.
Sudhanshu Trivedi Said that the way Rahul Gandhi spoke, and the body language and facial expressions of the leaders standing next to him clearly showed that what was being said probably had nothing to do with the truth. Rahul Gandhi’s past track record also shows the same pattern.
He further said that Rahul’s claim not only seems strange but also smacks more of politics than truth.
The BJP leader asked Rahul that what evidence do you have for what you have said. He also criticized Rahul Gandhi for using the India Bloc meeting with President Murmu to fulfill his political objectives.
