Turki companies are being opposed in India for supporting Pakistan. On Tuesday, Chennai Airport ended the contract with the Turki company Celibi’s subsidiary. According to a report by Reuters, the ground handling service at the company’s airport has been discontinued.
Earlier, Adani Airport Holdings ended his partnership with Turk’s firm Celebi for ground handling services at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel of Ahmedabad.
Government canceled the company’s security clearance
Earlier on May 15, the Civil Aviation Security Bureau (BCAS) canceled the security clearance of Celebi. The decision to cancel Celebi’s security approval was taken amidst Indo-Pak tension. In fact, Turkish drones were used in Pakistan’s attack on India.
In addition, Turki supported Pakistan after the ‘Operation Sindoor’ launched by India to respond to the Pahalgam terror attack. Since then, the government has been taking a tough stance against Turkish companies in India.
The government was bidding, so the Turk’s company canceled the clearance
On May 16, after the security clearance was canceled, Celebbi filed a petition against it in the Delhi High Court. On this, the Center said that in view of the threat to the aviation security, the security approval of the Celebi was canceled without any warning.
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that in such a time, to give reasons before action fails the purpose. In national security cases either we do something or do nothing. Nothing happens in the middle.

All the current employees of Celebi will be included in the new ground handling agencies.
Partnership with Celibi also ends for Delhi Airport
Earlier, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) had formally terminated her relationship with Celebi for ground handling and cargo operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport. National security was described as the reason for this.

Regarding the matter, Celebi Aviation India said- “We are not the organization of the Turkas from any standard and fully follow corporate governance, transparency. We have no political relations with any foreign government or individuals.”
The company said- We are confident that Fact, Transparency and Commonians will conquer the missing. It is globally operated company. International institutional investors from Canada, USA, United Kingdom, Singapore, UAE and Western Europe have a 65% stake in the company.
