The incident took place in Nayapura area. Local people said that there was a blast in a gas cylinder kept in the house. About three fire brigades brought the fire under control. Fire brigade personnel started rescuing the family sleeping on the second floor, but due to the narrow path going up, the team could not do the rescue.
