Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu has described Vijay as ‘The Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT). Whereas Malayalam actor Aju Varghese wrote that luck also favors the brave people. Actor Sibi Sathyaraj also expressed happiness on social media and wrote, “Blastu! Blastu! Now everything will be good.” Vijay’s party TVK, close to majority in the very first election, has crossed the 100-seat mark in its very first election contest. According to Election Commission trends, the party is leading on 110 seats. 117 seats are required to form the government in Tamil Nadu and Vijay’s party is very close to this magical figure. The special thing is that TVK has also become the party with the highest vote share in the state. This performance is considered quite big for a new party. Thalapathy Vijay, who had left acting and entered politics, had announced the formation of his party TVK in the beginning of the year 2024. He had made it clear that he would now completely enter politics and say goodbye to his acting career. Vijay’s party had given the slogan of ‘change’ and ‘corruption free governance’ in the state, which got huge support from the public. Tamil Nadu politics has been dominated by Dravidian parties (DMK and AIADMK) for decades, which Vijay has challenged strongly.
