GIC Recruitment 2024: The General Insurance Corporation of India has released the recruitment notification for the posts of Scale 1 Officer (Assistant Manager) today, December 4, 2024. A total of 110 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates may apply for the posts by visiting the official website at gicre.in.
“GIC Re, the Indian Reinsurer is a 10th largest Reinsurance Company in the world with the network in India and abroad, is looking for Graduates / Post Graduates in the disciplines mentioned below to fill-in the positions of 110 Officers in the cadre of Assistant Manager (Scale-I) to be posted in Head Office, Mumbai and will be liable to be posted anywhere in India as well as abroad as per the requirement of the Corporation,” reads the official notice.

The last date to apply is December 19, 2024. The selection of the candidates for the position of Assistant Manager (Scale I Officer) will be based on a written test followed by a group discussion, interview, and medical examination. The written exam will tentatively be held on January 5, 2025. The admit cards will be available seven days before the exam. The total marks for the online test, group discussion, and interview will be 200. Selected candidates will have to work from the Head Office located in Mumbai.
GIC Assistant Manager Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification required to apply for the GIC Assistant Manager Scal I Officer posts is graduation. Postgraduation is preferred for some of the posts.
Age limit: The minimum required age for the post is 21 years and the maximum is 30 years.

GIC Assistant Manager Recruitment 2024: Salary Details
A basic pay of Rs 50,925 per month will be paid to the selected candidates on the scale of Rs 50925 -2500(14) – 85925 -2710(4) -96765 and other admissible allowances like DA, HRA, CCA, etc, the official notice added.
