US President Donald Trump on Saturday announced plans to appoint a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) advisor. He announced the creation of an ‘AI Force’. Trump gave this information on Truth Social. He did not explain the structure of both the schemes and the way to implement them. This announcement has come at a time when America and China are competing to gain edge in AI. Trump is scheduled to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday. Trump said his administration would promote the AI industry. Existing criminal and civil justice systems will be used to deal with potential wrongdoing.
