Gujarat CID Crime has arrested 25 year old Rafiqul Alam from Assam. According to the police, the accused was linked to 1,090 cyber crimes and illegal transactions worth ₹1,071.5 crore across the country. He was in contact with Chinese cyber criminals through WhatsApp and Telegram.

After transferring the defrauded amount to 1,754 bank accounts, it was sent to China through cryptocurrency. 23 crypto wallets were found from the accused’s mobile, in which transactions worth about ₹ 16 crore were made. During the investigation, CCE (Cyber ​​Center of Excellence) also claimed to have stopped 10 cases of digital arrest in time.
