The US and Saudi Arabia have launched air strikes on Iran-backed militia targets in Iraq. According to the US Army, preparations were being made from these bases to attack American soldiers and Saudi Arabia’s energy targets.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) has said that US and Saudi Arabian forces have conducted joint precision strikes against Iran-backed groups in Iraq. These groups had carried out attacks on US forces and Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure on the instructions of the IRGC.
