US-Iran War Live Updates: Kuwait Intercepts Missiles, Bahrain Sounds Sirens As US And Iran Exchange Fresh Strikes

US-Iran War Live Updates: Tensions in West Asia escalated sharply on Sunday after Kuwait said its air defence systems intercepted incoming “hostile” missiles and drones, while air raid sirens were activated in neighbouring Bahrain following fresh US military strikes on Iran.

The Kuwaiti army urged residents to follow safety instructions as its air defences responded to the aerial attack. In Bahrain, home to a major US naval base, authorities asked people to remain calm and move to the nearest safe location after warning sirens sounded across the country.

The latest developments came hours after the United States carried out another round of strikes on Iranian targets, following an attack on a commercial tanker in the Strait of Hormuz. The renewed military action marks the most serious escalation since Washington and Tehran agreed to an interim peace deal two weeks ago.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned that any further US attacks would receive a “crushing response”, while both Washington and Tehran accused each other of violating the ceasefire agreement that was intended to end four months of fighting.

US President Donald Trump also issued a fresh warning to Iran, saying, “There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!”
