A high level meeting is going on at the residence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday regarding the NEET issue. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Jyotiraditya Scindia, NTA DG Abhishek Singh and senior PMO officials are also present in this meeting.
Here, after the cancellation of the examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for submitting bank account information for fee refund till 11:50 pm on June 22. The previous deadline was 27 May.
Candidates need to log in using their credentials to access the refund link and submit their bank account information.
NEET exam was held on May 3 in 551 cities of India and 14 abroad, in which more than 22 lakh students appeared. It was canceled on May 12 after the paper leak.
Rahul Gandhi met the family of the student who committed suicide

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday met the family of Pradeep Meghwal, a student preparing for NEET. Pradeep had committed suicide after the exam ‘question bank’ was leaked. Rahul accused the central government of mismanagement and said, the Modi-Pradhan duo is answerable for this family.
In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi wrote that Pradeep’s death was not suicide but the result of a broken, corrupt system. The Modi-Pradhan duo is answerable to this family who handed over the examination system to the mafia, and are still clinging to their seats.
Accused on 5 days CBI remand
Rouse Avenue Court on Wednesday sent Dr Manoj Shirure and Tejas Harshad Kumar Shah to CBI police custody till June 1 in connection with the NEET UG paper leak case. Special Judge Vidya Prakash also sent Prahlad Kulkarni and Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar to judicial custody till June 10.
CBI has so far conducted searches at 49 places at different places and seized many important documents, laptops and mobile phones. A total of 13 people have been arrested so far in this case.
Exam held on 3rd May canceled on 12th May
NEET-UG exam was held on May 3 in 551 cities of the country and 14 centers abroad. About 23 lakh candidates had appeared in it. According to NTA, information about irregularities in the examination was received on the evening of May 7. After this the matter was handed over to the central agencies. On May 12, the exam was canceled and the decision to re-exam was taken.
