US President Donald Trump has decided to remove tariffs on dozens of agricultural products including beef, coffee and fruits. Inflation is being said to be the main reason behind this. Inflation was a big issue in the recently held mayor and governor elections.
According to the Trump administration, this step has been taken with the aim of stabilizing the prices of those products. The burden of the tariffs imposed on these was falling directly on the consumers. Beef, coffee, tea, fruit juice, cocoa, spices, bananas, oranges, tomatoes and some fertilizer products are included in the tariff free category.
In the past months, there was a continuous increase in the prices of many food products, including beef. The increased import duty on big exporting countries like Brazil was also considered a reason for the increase in costs. However, the Trump administration has previously claimed that tariffs do not have a significant impact on prices.
The US recently signed agreements with Ecuador, Guatemala, El Salvador and Argentina to reduce agricultural tariffs. The new order is being said to be in accordance with these agreements.

5 neighboring countries of India are getting notes printed from China: Nepal gave tender for printing 43 crore notes

Like most of India’s neighboring countries, Nepal is now turning to China for its currency printing. Nepal National Bank (NRB) had issued a tender for printing of 43 crore Rs 1000 notes on November 7-8.
A Chinese company has won this tender. After this Nepali Bank gave the tender to China CBPMC. From 1945 to 1955, all the notes of Nepal were printed in India’s security press at Nashik and even after that India remained the main partner.
However, in 2015, Nepal National Bank (NRB) awarded the contract to China Bank Note Printing and Minting Corporation (CBPMC) through global tender, after which most of Nepal’s notes started being printed in China.
Apart from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Thailand also get their currency printed in China. In the last few years, China has become a major currency center of Asian countries. This is having a negative impact on the currency printing market of America and Britain. Read the full news here…
