The bill has been sent to the 39-member Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). The committee has 27 MPs from Lok Sabha and 12 from Rajya Sabha. BJP MP from Pali, Rajasthan, PP Choudhary has been made the chairman of JPC. The committee has to submit its report in the Lok Sabha on the first day of the last week of the next Parliament session.
