33 year old Lakhwinder Singh of Khanpur village of Hoshiarpur Tanda in Punjab died in a road accident in Dubai. There is a wave of mourning in the entire village due to the death of the young man.

Pargat Singh, father of the deceased youth Lakhwinder, said that he had two sons and Lakhwinder was the younger one. Lakhwinder had gone to Dubai just three months ago and was working as a delivery boy in a non-food LIC company there. Lakhwinder was very happy with his job.
Got Dubai driving license
He told that, just a few days ago, Lakhwinder had told on the phone that he had also got a driving license of Dubai. There was a wave of happiness in the whole family due to this, but yesterday at 6 o’clock in the evening when the news of Lakhwinder’s death came, all the happiness turned into mourning.
Pargat Singh says that we were told on the phone that Lakhwinder had an accident while doing the delivery work and he died. The family has appealed to the central government and the state government to investigate Lakhwinder’s death and help in bringing his body to Khanpur village so that the family can perform his last rites.
