Actress Smita Jayakar recently told that Sushant Singh Rajput was undergoing treatment for depression at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. She had gone to the hospital to meet him. According to Smita, Rhea Chakraborty had approached her for spiritual healing. In fact, Smita said in an interview to Siddharth Kannan, “When Sushant Hinduja was admitted in the hospital, I also went to give him healing. He was undergoing treatment for depression.” She told, “Rhea had called me. I had worked with her in ‘Sonali Cable’. We had talked about these things earlier. I told Rhea that I will come to meet Sushant.” The plan to come to the ashram could not be made. Smita told that she was planning to take Sushant to her ashram. Sushant was also ready to participate in a process there. He said, “He was probably taking medicines at that time. He spoke to me very nicely and seemed happy.” Smita further said, “I was going to bring him to the ashram. He was also ready to participate in a process there.” He told, “That night Riya messaged me – ‘Smita, he is becoming weak again.’ After this this meeting could not take place. I am sorry that he could not come.” Smita also told that she had hugged Sushant during the meeting. She said, “I hugged him tightly. I always liked him as an actor.” Questions asked by herself after Sushant’s death: Smita said that after hearing the news of Sushant’s death, she felt that she could have helped him. “When I learned about his death, I thought – why didn’t he come to me? Why didn’t he contact me again? I could have helped him,” she said. Smita spoke in support of Rhea. In the interview, Smita also mentioned the investigation and criticism on Rhea Chakraborty after Sushant’s death. He said, “Rhea was with Sushant at that time and wanted to help him. This poor girl was dragged into all this.” Smita said, “When I worked with Rhea, she was a very sweet girl.” Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai home on June 14, 2020. At that time his age was 34 years. After his death, many allegations were made against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. Many investigations were also conducted in the case. Subsequently, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed the closure report. The report said that no evidence of conspiracy or criminal involvement was found on the part of Rhea and her family. Smita Jaykar is associated with spirituality and healing. Apart from acting, actress Smita Jaykar has been associated with spirituality and healing for more than 35 years. He was interested in these subjects even before coming into acting. She is certified in over 36 healing modalities such as Chakra Healing, Reiki and Pranic Healing.
