There was a rift between Salman Khan and singer Arijit Singh at an award show, after which their fight came into the headlines. After this, Arijit’s song was removed from Salman Khan’s film Sultan, due to which the controversy increased further. However, after years, there has been a reconciliation between Salman and Arijit. Salman himself revealed this and also admitted his mistake and said that there was a misunderstanding in the matter from his side.
Recently, comedian Ravi Gupta appeared as host in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19. During this, he told Salman that he was afraid to come here because his appearance was very similar to Arijit Singh. Salman laughed at this and said, Arijit and I are very good friends, it was a misunderstanding and that misunderstanding was from my side.

Salman further said, he has also done songs for me. Now he has done it in Tiger and is doing it in Galwan (film) also.
Read what is the whole controversy?
Singer Arijit Singh arrived at the 2014 Guild Awards to receive the award for the song Tum Hi Ho. At this time Salman Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh were present on the stage, who were continuously joking with the singer. Coming on stage, Arijit said, you guys made me sleep. On this Salman had said, it is not our fault in this, if such songs (Tum Hi Ho) keep playing then the audience will definitely sleep.

Arijit left the stage without replying, but after him, Mithun, who came to receive the award for Best Lyrics for the same song Tum Hi Ho, responded to Arijit’s insult. He said, the song Tum Hi Ho has not made people sleep, it has awakened them.
On this Salman again replied in a funny manner, Hey your singer has come while sleeping. In response, Mithun said, Arijit has sung with a lot of patience and this patience is the need of the music industry.
First, Salman takes out a piece of paper stuck on Mithun’s pants and makes fun of him too. To this Mithun replied, you keep him sitting for 6 hours, that is why this happens.
Salman stops laughing at his words and then shouts in anger and says, you are done, now leave. On this Mithun had said- I was not afraid. Seeing the rift between the two, everyone became serious.
At the time of this rift, Arijit Singh had sung a song for Salman Khan’s film Sultan, but after a few days his song was removed from the film. After receiving the news, Arijit Singh posted on social media and apologized to Salman and requested that his song not be removed from the film. However the apology had no effect.
