Both the MPs accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of pushing them. After the incident, BJP MPs Anurag Thakur and Bansuri Swaraj had filed a complaint against Rahul under 7 sections of BNS including charges of attempt to murder, threatening and pushing.
However, the police have removed Section 109 (attempt to murder) and registered the FIR under only 6 sections. These sections include acts with intent to cause hurt, pushing and intimidation.

BJP MP Nishikant said – Rahul commits hooliganism
Immediately after the incident, MP Nishikant told Rahul that you do not feel ashamed, you commit hooliganism. Dropped the old man. On this, Rahul immediately alleged that Sarangi had pushed him. As soon as Rahul said this, the BJP MPs present there started shouting loudly that Sarangi did not push Rahul. Soon after this Rahul left from there.
Kharge said – There was a scuffle with me and Priyanka too
BJP MPs have complained to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. After this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla issued instructions saying that no member of Parliament will protest at any gate of the Parliament House.
At the same time, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also said that he and Priyanka were manhandled. Kharge said- His knee got injured due to the push.
Rajnath said, there is no place for such incidents in democracy.
