Reshuffle of 9 IPS officers
In the transfer list released by the Yogi government, the work areas of 9 IPS officers have been changed. 2018 batch IPS KK Bishnoi has been transferred from the post of Sambhal SP and has been made the SSP of Bijnor.

During the Sambhal violence, the situation was controlled in 2 hours
On 24 November 2024, violence broke out during the survey of Jama Masjid in Sambhal. In this challenging situation, SP KK Bishnoi took charge along with the police force and played an important role in bringing the situation under control within about two hours.
After the violence, the police took strict action and a case was registered against a large number of unknown people including SP MP Ziaur Rahman Burke in the case. Apart from this, action was also taken in many cases during the campaign against electricity theft, which was mentioned by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his speech.
Insurance scam worth Rs 100 crore exposed
During his posting in Sambhal, KK Bishnoi also took action against economic crimes and organized criminals. Along with exposing the alleged insurance scam of more than Rs 100 crore, action was taken against more than 69 mafias and accused.
The police also cracked down on the Shariq Satha gang associated with the Sambhal violence and key members of the gang were arrested.

During his tenure, KK Bishnoi has received many honors for excellent policing and effective action in cases related to financial crimes. He was awarded the Chief Minister’s Excellence Service Police Medal (UP) and Platinum Commendation Award.

KK Bishnoi married IPS officer Anshika Verma on 29 March 2026 in Jodhpur. IPS Anshika Verma is also known for her working style in police service and action in challenging cases. Now both these IPS officers have started a new innings in their personal lives also.
