There was an explosion in an explosives factory in the US state of Tennessee on Friday morning, in which 19 people went missing. According to media reports, these people have very little hope of survival because the blast destroyed an entire factory building.
The explosion occurred around 7:45 in the morning and its intensity was so much that people could feel it up to 24 kilometers away. Houses in the surrounding areas shook and there was smoke everywhere.
Debris spread for half a mile across the factory’s 1,300-acre campus. The families of the missing people waited for hours at the factory gate, but till now no information has been received about them.
Officials said that the reason for the blast is not yet clear. There is a possibility of small explosions, which has made the situation more difficult.
